Linux Manager Console

LMC comes with functionalities that will help you to manage or install services on your Linux servers from a Windows XP or a Vista workstation. These functionalities are available with plugins allowing visual setting and management, in a fast and intuitive way. The "Drag and drop" feature is also possible to manage servers.
In most cases, the plugins integrate a configuration file editor. This will allow your most exacting users to make configurations "by hand" (ou manually)
Communication between LMC and servers is made possible by SSH. It is totally secure, and permits you to work even on remote servers, through the Internet, easily.

Furthermore, automatic management of softwares (RPM Packages) simplifies the creation of new services on your servers. Only what is needed is installed, optimizing the memory space required and reducing the potential attack range.

	LMC contains by default the following plugins:
	File Manager (screenshot) An easy and efficient way to manage your files and folders "Drag and drop" available on files and folders between Windows to Linux or Linux to Linux, even between different distributions. Also, an extremely effective, simplified search by either whole or part of a word, and an easy way to give rights to your Linux® server users

	Backup Manager (screenshot) Sensitive datas have to be taken into account in the security of your company. LMC offers you a set of scripts based on Rsync that will allow you to set incremental backups. Only new files or modified files are saved, old data are kept, so you will never loose important files.

	DHCP Server Manager (screenshot) Managing the IP addresses on your network(s) is piece of cake, thanks to the graphical interface ! But for Linux gurus, edition of configuration files is made easier thanks to the text editor enhanced with a contextual help.

	Network Manager (screenshot) With this plugin, you can manage many network interfaces on your Linux servers (IP Address, etc...) and handle redundant network interfaces thanks to an advanced management of Bonding service (beta).

	Services Manager (screenshot) With this plugin, you will stop, start or change execution levels of services on your Linux® servers. An advanced management is possible through LMC thanks to Xinetd (network services management).
